Green Joins Capel’s Product Development Team

Capel Rugs has appointed Cindy Green product design and development assistant. “We are so excited to have Cindy on our team,” said Cameron Capel, vice president of national accents for Capel Rugs. “She is a highly talented designer with an exceptional eye for emerging fashion trends. Her experience on the fabric side of the business will be a valuable asset as we continue to develop new lines to meet the ever-evolving needs of consumers and our customers.” In this position, a new one at the company, Green will assist with domestic and import product development as well as help with sample development and sales coordination. Her product development responsibilities will include providing design and creative input for the Capel line of products, proprietary products, licensed products and import products. Green also will assist with the development of new yarn systems required for domestic product development. Green joins Capel Rugs from Global Textile Alliance, where she was the first designer hired by GTA and served for 14 years as senior designer. Previous to that, Green was a stylist and print designer for Culp Home Fashions.
