2011 AMCA AWARDS ANNOUNCED AT NATIONAL ORIENTAL RUG SHOW
The Area Rug industry’s most celebrated event honoring the most spectacular introductions took place at the height of the first Market of the year, the January Atlanta International Area Rug Market featuring the National Oriental Rug Show (NORS) on Saturday, January 15, 2011. The Market’s signature event, America’s Magnificent Carpets Awards (AMCA) featured an exclusive evening of innovation, inspiration, artistry and celebration.

Headlining AMCA was Cirque Dreams in a performance that blended imagination, theatrical modernism and breathtaking presentation into an illuminating story. Following Cirque Dreams, the area rug winners—selected from the Museum of Introductions (MOI) gallery by an independent panel of renowned tastemakers—were announced and presented by AmericasMart’s Chas Sydney. Handmade $12.01-23 per sq. ft.: F.J. Kashanian
