AMC To Expand Design Resources At July Market

The much-anticipated launch of the DÉCOR │Light & Lifestyles collection at The Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market® July 14-18, 2016 expands AmericasMart® Atlanta’s design-driven product resources yet again with a juried trade show presentation of home furnishings and accessories encompassing lighting, furniture, fine linens and textiles.  The new category showcases a select assemblage of fresh lines and designs built on the success of the celebrated HIGH DESIGN, HD Home and LUXE temporaries.

“The collection is an expanded expression of what is new and next in lifestyle and lighting design,” explains JoAnn Miller Marshall, AmericasMart executive vice president of Tradeshows. “The spacious booths, hard walls and floor layout give these top manufacturers the ultimate venue to showcase their sophisticated mix of the hottest trends in home furnishings design and decor.”

Industry leaders and innovators are using the new collection to show trendsetting designs and concepts to AmericasMart’s large-and-growing community of designers, specifiers and global tastemakers shopping its markets and design resources between markets.  Among the exhibitors participating in the inaugural DÉCOR showing are French Market Collection’s Peggy Richardson, who will introduce products from her new lighting company, Get Lit. Taylor Burke Home showcases its new TAILORED line featuring well-priced decor pieces with accents from The Blush Label and Mitchell Black complementing the upholstery and lighting products. Callisto Home will showcase elegant and sophisticated pillows, bed linens and window treatments in pale colors and neutrals, including designs featuring the latest demand accent, subdued gold.

“We expect this area to be a must-see for stores and designers looking for something new and exciting” explains Richardson.
