AmericasMart To Host Design Camp At January Market

Interior Design Camp® hosts its inaugural Atlanta conference in conjunction with The Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market® and The Atlanta International Area Rug Market® featuring the National Oriental Rug Show at AmericasMart®, January 10-11, 2015. Lead by celebrity interior designers Lori Dennis and Kelli Ellis, the national design summit provides designers the opportunity to learn and network with the most respected professionals in the interior design business.

The complimentary two-day Camp, held in the Penthouse Theater at AmericasMart, includes a showroom tour day at the Market, a networking cocktail party and presentations from Dennis and Ellis as well as Adam Japko, president of Network Communications, Inc.’s Digital Sherpa social media management business; hotel and restaurant designer Peter Zakas; and acclaimed interior designer Suzanne Kasler.

Internationally known for their appearances on HGTV, Bravo, NBC, Oxygen, TLC and Food Network, and articles in countless publications, Dennis and Ellis have spent decades educating designers and design enthusiasts.

“We are thrilled to bring our interior design summit to the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market!  AmericasMart organizes one of the leading markets for the home in the nation, and the partnership has been a perfect synergy with our Design Camp initiatives” says Dennis.

“We’re excited about the opportunity to showcase our extensive collection of Home products to a new group of design professionals,” says Mark Furlet, senior vice president of Leasing for AmericasMart’s home, rug and holiday/ floral collections. “We’re confident our exhibitors will make a lasting impression with their strong array of incredible lines.”

Interior Design Camp offers designers CEU credits for each hour of attendance and the opportunity to shop the premier Market in the country.

“Interior Design Camp not only teaches designers how to get to the top in their field but covers their bases in keeping up with their accreditation. Plus, it’s a fantastic networking community,” says Ellis.

Registration is open now for the free camp. More information is available at www.designcamp.com.
