Hamilton Wrenn Properties To Feature New Showrooms And Seminars At Spring Market

New lines, high-end product introductions and CEU-accredited seminars highlight offerings in the Hamilton Wrenn Properties – 200, 320 and 330 North Hamilton – for Spring 2019 High Point Market, running April 6 – April 10, 2019. Located in the center of the Hamilton Wrenn Design District, the 25 showrooms include furnishings for nearly every room of the home, as well as customizable lines that allow retailers and designers to differentiate their store or studio portfolio.

“The Hamilton Properties are a key High Point Market destination for designers and retailers looking for signature high-end product,” said Scott Eckman, executive vice president, president of furniture and home décor leasing for International Market Centers. “In addition to popular lines and product debuts, 200 Hamilton is a go-to site for CEU-accredited seminars that will help educate buyers and allow them to network with industry tastemakers.”

For Spring Market, in 200 North Hamilton, King Hickory (upholstered fabric and leather furniture) is debuting; Bruce Andrews Design (handcrafted furniture) is relocating; Fairfield Chair (fashion-forward furnishings) is expanding; and Stanley Furniture (wood furniture) is celebrating its 95th anniversary. Other notable 200 North Hamilton showrooms include: Brownstone Furniture (bedroom, dining and occasional tables); California House (luxury game room furniture); Jonathan Charles Fine Furniture (furniture design with a contemporary twist.); Leathercraft (fine leather seating); Wildwood (on-trend lighting and home décor); and Yutzy Woodworking (solid wood bedroom and case goods). Notable showrooms at 330 North Hamilton are Dorya (luxury furniture and interiors) and Resource Décor (original furniture and home accessories).

King Hickory is a producer of high-quality upholstered fabric and leather furniture. The line consists of chairs, ottomans, recliners, sectionals, sleepers, sofas and upholstered beds.

“King Hickory is very excited about moving to the Hamilton Wrenn area where we think we’ll be a good fit due to our better-end upholstery offerings,” King Hickory President John Palmer said. “The Hamilton Wrenn Design District has a very positive and upbeat energy and we are looking forward to introducing our line to the many fine retailers and design firms that visit.”

Bruce Andrews Design is an American-made company that combines craftsmanship and timeless aesthetics to create high-quality furniture. The company’s line includes beds, chairs, chests, ottomans, tables and sofas, among other products. Bruce Andrews Designs debuts at Spring Market include the Francois Chair, the Hout Bay Sofa and the Angelique Chair.

“Alice Walker once said, ‘whenever you are creating beauty around you, you are restoring your own soul,’ and I hope my designs cater to this fine statement,” said Bruce MacDonald, owner of Bruce Andrews Design. “High Point Market is one of the only North American furniture shows that caters to all those resources as it maximizes specifiers, designers, and fashionistas who can source, curate, and find beauty to cater to their own and their clients own lifestyle. We are forever grateful to our clients who visit us at Bruce Andrews Design in High Point.”

Stanley Furniture produces furniture with striking designs, artisan finishes and superior quality. Stanley Furniture products include beds, bookcases, console tables, cocktail tables, benches, dressers, dining tables, media cabinets and mirrors. This April, they’re introducing the 915 Cameron Drawer Chest, 925 Bluffton Master Chest, 935 Old Town Single Dresser and 950 Sedona Jackson Buffet.

“Now in our 95th year, Stanley has enjoyed many successful High Point Markets. As the furniture capital of the world, showing in High Point provides the unique opportunity to present our newest introductions to a huge number of customers in a short period of time,” said Andy Tilley, president of Stanley Furniture. “Being situated at 200 North Hamilton, in the heart of the design district, has been especially beneficial as the customer base here aligns well with our company’s strategic vision.”

Additionally, 200 North Hamilton St. is home to Alden Parkes, a must-see showroom destination and a learning location among the Hamilton Wrenn properties. Along with their upscale product line, visitors to Alden Parkes can take advantage of numerous CEU-accredited seminars and “Showhouse in a Showroom,” an event featuring the work of seven interior designers: Jeremy Bauer and Jason Clifton of Bauer/Clifton Interiors; Keia McSwain of Kimberly + Cameron Interiors; Kerrie Kelly of Kerrie Kelly Design Lab; Lisa Kahn of Lisa Kahn Designs; Rajini Alex of Rajini Alex Design and Shayla Copas of Shayla Copas Interiors. The event begins on Thursday, April 4 and runs through Wednesday, April 10. The designers will be on hand to talk about their design concepts from 4 to 6 p.m. on April 6. The Alden Parkes showroom is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Hamilton Wrenn Properties will offer marketgoers a wide range of educational and networking opportunities, including numerous seminars and social events.
