ICON Honors Industry Leaders
On July 17, 2014, the fifth-annual ICON HONORS celebrated the best in global innovation as top achievers and superior achievements were recognized before a record-breaking audience on the most anticipated and important night in the home and gift industry.
As a centerpiece of the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market®, the July 10 event attracted a capacity audience of more than 1,000 to applaud the nine ICON HONORS 2014 Honorees, which were selected in rigorous adjudication of a broad field of entries.
“Five years ago, ICON HONORS premiered in pursuit of the mission for which it was created: To showcase and celebrate global innovation,” notes Jeffrey L. Portman, Sr., vice chairman and president of AmericasMart Atlanta, the founder and primary sponsor of ICON HONORS. “That mission continued this year with the largest audience in ICON history on hand to witness stories of extraordinary achievement, and to be reminded of all that ingenuity and innovation can accomplish.”
