Kalaty To Open New NYC Showroom
ORIA member company Kalaty Rug Corporation has announced the November opening of a new permanent New York City showroom at 7 W. 34th Street – Showroom # 807. The new 4,400-square-foot showroom will showcase the company’s entire program product line as well as a full complement of marketing materials plus dealer merchandise display and sample racks.
“We feel that this showroom and its location are a positive move for our company,” says company spokesman Ariel Kalaty. “We look forward to working with customers from our new showroom at 7 W. 34th.”
While the Kalaty family rug business originated in the early 1900s in Iran, Mirza Kalaty founded Kalaty Rug Corporation in the USA in 1979. Today, Mirza Kalaty and his five sons, Ramin, Mike, Farshad, Ariel and Kamran operate the company, which is renowned for its ability to combine color and design together to create rugs that portray “Tradition for Today.” Kalaty showroom locations include New York, Atlanta and High Point.
