MOMENI PROMOTES THREE EXECS

Carlstadt, NJ (July 26, 2011) —Momeni has announced the promotion of three executives to the sales management team according to Reza Momeni, President.

Stephen Hoberman has been promoted to the position of National Sales Manager from National Accounts Manager, where his key responsibilities will be to manage and expand Momeni’s national sales organization into new and existing avenues of business.

Hoberman has been with Momeni for two years, prior to which he held executive positions at both Kane Carpet and Trans-Ocean Imports and brings with him nearly ten years of experience in the floor covering industry. In his new role, Hoberman will report to Ali Momeni, Senior VP.

Also announced was the promotion of Angela Chu- Petta to the position of National Accounts Manager, formerly held by Stephen Hoberman. Chu- Petta has been with Momeni for over four years in the position of Mid-West Regional Manager and in her new role will focus on the development of key National Accounts.

Previous to Momeni, Chu-Petta worked in merchandising for several large scale retailers, including Walmart and The Great Indoors and brings with her a keen sense of what is needed on a proprietary level.  She will report to Stephen Hoberman in this new position.

The last of the current changes promotes Ty Strader to the newly created position of Internet Development Manager.  In this role, Strader will play a key role in developing the e-commerce business for the company. Strader has been with Momeni for more than three years serving as an Account Executive and prior to joining the company, served as a buyer for several Midwest retailers.  He will report to Stephen Hoberman in this new position.

The moves follow the exit of longtime VP of Sales, Austin Craley, who announced his resignation last month.

“We are fortunate to have such talented and well- respected people on our team to continue our company’s vision and carry us into the coming years,” says Reza Momeni.  “Our sales team—both internal and on the road—are as strong and aggressive as any in the industry and will propel us well into the future. Our products remain on the cutting edge of fashion and Momeni will continue to grow and remain an industry leader.”

Momeni is based in Carlstadt, NJ with additional showrooms in Atlanta, High Point and Las Vegas. They also have temporary space at the kids’ market in Kentucky.
