Nourison to Open New Showroom in New York City

SADDLE BROOK, NJ — August 10, 2011… Nourison is proud to announce the opening of their new permanent showroom in New York City in September 2011. The showroom is over 10,000 square feet and located at 295 Fifth Avenue, the heart of the New York’s home furnishings and textiles market. It is scheduled to open in time for Metro Market and the Home Textiles Market Week, two important New York rugs and home furnishings events in mid-September.

“Nourison has invested heavily in 2010 and 2011 to expand our product lines in categories that match today’s consumer demand,” said Alex Peykar, principal at Nourison. “We think this will vitalize our brand and give our retailers the edge they need with customers,” he added.

The newly designed, street-level, showroom with striking window displays is the latest milestone for the company. It will feature Nourison’s full range of products from fine area rugs and scatter rugs to broadloom and home decorative accessories in addition to nationally recognizable brand names such as Calvin Klein Home. “This modern showroom at such a prime location in New York City will allow us to present our products to buyers and prospects in the region in a most attractive manner while also exhibiting Nourison’s superior design and craftsmanship to all,” continued Peykar.

The showroom is for wholesale only and not open to the public. Nourison also has permanent showrooms in Atlanta, Las Vegas, High Point and Zurich as well as at the company’s world headquarters in Saddle Brook, New Jersey.
