Nourison Signs Licensing Agreement With Abboud

SADDLE BROOK, NJ (August 17, 2011) — Nourison announced that they have signed an exclusive brand licensing agreement with Joseph Abboud, a division of JA Apparel Corp, New York. The program will include powerloom woven and handmade rugs in a full range of sizes and styles. The rugs will be reflective of the Joseph Abboud brand and be made at Nourison’s manufacturing facilities in Asia. The first collection will be launched at the High Point Home Furnishings Market in October 2011.

The partnership with Nourison is a part of an aggressive strategy to expand the Joseph Abboud brand as a leader in designer, premier lifestyle products across all categories of fashion and home products. At the same time, this licensing agreement will expand Nourison’s portfolio of products into the realm of contemporary, high fashion that is characteristic of the Joseph Abboud brand. JA Creative Director, Bernardo Rojo will work closely with the Nourison development team on the design aesthetic and point of view of the rug collection.
