Nourison’s High Point Return A Success
Nourison’s return to High Point was well received by buyers, retailers and designers from the home furnishings industry during the Fall 2011 market. “Our decision to come back to High Point at this time appears to be the right move,” said Alex Peykar, principal at Nourison. “Our company and products generated a lot of attention from attendees during the market. In addition to expanding our customer base, our presence in High Point also increases Nourison’s brand recognition in a key demographic, namely the home furnishings industry.”
“We certainly saw a lot of booth traffic and interest in our products during the High Point market,” said Gerard O’Keefe, Vice President of National Sales at Nourison. “We had so many wonderful new and innovative products on display. Visitors were also amazed when they walked around our showroom and saw the range of products and price points Nourison covers.” Several new introductions were made during the High Point market including the much-anticipated Joseph Abboud rugs. Featuring five new collections, Opus, Chicago, Modelo, Monterey and Majestic, the Joseph Abboud designs combine sophisticated, high fashion style with distinctive modern color palettes and innovative textures. Other new products included: Coastal, an addition to the Calvin Klein Home collection featuring a modern flatweave created from wool with unique graphic patterns in complementing hues; Aura, a sophisticated and classy collection of earth tone rugs handmade from viscose; Rainforest and Home & Garden, two beautiful and vibrant indoor outdoor collections; Siam, a handmade ikat collection featuring bold and dramatic traditional patterns; Urban Safari, a magnificent collection of faux-fur shag rugs; and several new additions of the Mina Victory collection of pillows and home accents.
