Las Vegas, NV (August 9, 2011) — WORLD MARKET CENTER’s Summer 2011 Market drew exhibitors, buyers and visitors from around the world. This gift and home furnishings ‘showcase of the West’ featured a wide range of cutting edge products—including rugs from the country’s leading imports and manufacturers.

This year’s Keynote Address was delivered by former President Bill Clinton who focused on the challenge of globalization, emphasized our growing interdependence and pointed the way toward a common future based on shared goals and values. Following his keynote address, Clinton participated in a moderated question-and answer session.

Among this year’s other market highlights was the return of The Hot Spot:Social Media Bar where visitors had the opportunity to “join the conversation” as they learned about all the ways they could increase their social media presence—and ultimately their bottom-line. The event, now in its third incarnation, allowed for market attendees to meet with experts who provided the latest tips and techniques on how to maximize their presence and fully connect with their customers in the ever-changing medium of social media.
