Vegas Temporary Leasing Pacing At All-Time High

Las Vegas Market announced that temporary gift and home décor leasing is pacing at an all-time high with nearly 600 new and returning exhibitors expected to bring a variety of resources to the Pavilions for 2019 Winter Las Vegas Market, running Jan. 27 – Jan. 31, 2019.

“Our temporary exhibits are being filled at a pace I have never seen before, with record renewals from current exhibitors, key returns by former exhibitors and an impressive number of newcomers to Las Vegas Market,” said Terence Morris, senior vice president of gift and tradeshow leasing for International Market Centers. “These tangible and quantifiable gains not only signal the industry’s confidence in Las Vegas Market’s ability to deliver return on investment but also cement Las Vegas Market as the leading gift and home décor market in the west.”

Exhibitors are excited to showcase their product at Winter Market, citing both success at past Markets and the opportunity to follow-up with current buyers and branch out to West Coast buyers.

“Since launching our Citizen Watch clock collection in 2017, we have partnered with more than 850 jewelers across the United States as well as many major retailers, including Wayfair and Macy’s,” said first-time Las Vegas Market HOME exhibitor Steven Verducci, vice president of the clock division at Citizen Watch Company. “Las Vegas Market will allow us to branch out to the West Coast and see accounts that we would not ordinarily be able to visit. Many accounts have asked us if we participate in Market so it is only natural to be attending. We look forward to great things happening at our first Las Vegas Market.”

“We always look forward to exhibiting in the Pavilions at Las Vegas Market,” said David Peters, co-founder of GIFT exhibitor Chandler Candle Co. “The buyers, exhibitors, and staff are all fantastic to work with and we get to introduce Chandler Candle Co. to buyers and markets that we just don’t see at the other big shows.”
