Zollanvari To Show At The Rug Show In LA

Zollanvari are delighted to announce their participation at The Rug Show in Los Angeles that runs from 29th through to 31st March 2015 at the LA Convention Center, 1201 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015. Zollanvari’s presentation at the show will include the official USA launch of their new line, the KUNDAN DIFFUSION KOTI SILK COLLECTION.

The Kundan Diffusion line builds on Zollanvari’s much hailed and award-winning silk carpets from India by introducing a totally new quality. Manmade fibres are used to weave the KUNDAN DIFFUSION KOTI SILK COLLECTION, making the price range for this line extremely attractive – a key factor in presenting these carpets to new potential buyers, particularly in the design, retail and contract markets. Though competitively priced, these carpets enthral with their astonishing colour combinations, their well-balanced designs – many inspired from ikat weavings – and their stunning production quality – a further testament to the production values Zollanvari are recognised for globally.

The fibres used to weave these magical Zollanvari carpets are obtained from the cellulose pulp of natural materials such as bamboo or banana plants. Zollanvari have selected a blend of the finest of these fibres for the KUNDAN DIFFUSION KOTI SILK COLLECTION. The result is not only rugs made out of sustainable and relatively environment-friendly raw material – factors at the very heart of all Zollanvari carpet production – but a world apart from the mass-produced ‘viscose’ lines available widely on the market. The bamboo plants are farmed without the use of pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. They are processed into yarn locally using traditional methods. The silk-like fibres absorb colours particularly well and are lustrous, soft and supple.
