Global Views To Open New AmericasMart Showroom

Global Views, a premier manufacturer of fine decorative accessories, lighting, furnishings, wall art, area rugs and more, will establish a major new Atlanta corporate presence with a 13,000 square-foot flagship showroom opening this July, according to Jeffrey L. Portman, Sr., president and chief operating officer of AmericasMart parent AMC, Inc. AmericasMart is a member of the ORIA. The Global Views showroom is among many recent and forthcoming additions expanding AmericasMart’s home, rug, gift and apparel franchise, which continues in its role as the world’s true global marketplace following more than 51 years of master-planned growth.  Its seven-million square foot facility houses the world’s single-largest collection of product under one roof and is the ranking preferred destination for retailers and designers from every U.S. state and more than 90 countries. Secured under a multi-year commitment on floor 14 of AmericasMart Building One, the new Global Views corporate showroom is now under construction for grand-opening events scheduled to occur with the July 11-18 Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market.  The showroom creates a major new 14th-floor design-driven resource adding significantly to AmericasMart’s large and growing home furnishings and home accents product mix. “Global Views helps define the direction of our growing design-driven product presentation on floor 14,” notes David Savula, AMC executive vice president in charge of all AmericasMart home and gift leasing.  “The scope and depth of its product lines and the unmistakable look and feel of its brand align perfectly with the design environment we are creating on this signature floor,” Savula adds.
