KAS Rugs will be helping those affected by the recent devastating earthquake in Nepal with a $20,000 donation. “What has happened is heart breaking” said Rao Yarlagadda, President. “There are so many things that are needed. Medical help, housing, food, water, etc. So many Children have been affected. KAS Announces New Sales Team
The company is excited to announce several changes to their sales team. Wendy Reiss has been promoted to VP Sales & National Accounts and will oversee regional sales managers and national accounts. Wendy has been with KAS for over 14 years and has been instrumental in the growth of national accounts and developing KAS’ advertising and marketing plans. We are very excited to promote her into this new role as she has experience in retail and many aspects of our business and well-liked and revered by industry professionals. Vee Curfman has been promoted to Sales Manager and will cover the south and mid-west territories. Vee has been with KAS for over 5 years and has been key in developing several states in the south along with growing national accounts in her territory. The sales team has relied on her for many years for expertise on product knowledge and sales support during our shows. We are all very excited for her to take on this new role. KAS welcomes Sandy Ford as Sales Manager for the east and west coast territories. Sandy comes to KAS with many years of experience in the home furnishings industry. Her sales and management experience spans the country and many product lines. She is well-respected by industry peers and sales teams and comes to us with great recommendations. KAS Debuts New Vegas Showroom
Kas Rugs will have over 200+ new designs to show at the upcoming Atlanta and Las Vegas markets. KAS will also debut a new location come Las Vegas Market this January, as it moves into a larger space of 4,000 square feet, in Building B, space B-175. The new spot is located right off the first floor lobby of Building B, said Wendy Reiss, key account manager of sales and marketing, Kas. “The new space is slightly larger and will enable us to show more of our product offerings in an easy to find location for our customers”. Kas will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at 4 p.m., and all are welcome to attend, she added. In addition, for both the Atlanta International Area Rug Market (where it shows in space 4-D-2 in Building 1) and the Las Vegas Market, Kas will offer discounts on stock orders to its existing customer base and free freight on opening orders for new accounts. KAS Moves To New Vegas Showroom
LAS VEGAS (July 22, 2011) – KAS Oriental Rugs, Inc. is moving to a new showroom in Building B for Summer 2011 Las Vegas Market, Aug. 1-5. KAS Rugs will make the move from the sixth floor of Building C to a new showroom in Suite B-570, joining other relocated rug showrooms aiming to delivering more crossover shopping opportunities and synergy for retailers within the home décor segment. In addition to KAS Rugs’ move, World Market Center Las Vegas recently announced that rug showrooms on the eighth floor of Building C are moving to Building B, floors 3, 4 and 5, beginning with the August Market. They will be co-located within the complementary home décor and adjacent rug showrooms in Building B, and providing a better overall connectivity to the existing spaces within that segment. KAS Rugs’ move will join in this re-merchandising of the floor coverings segment in Building B, encompassing home accents and decorative accessories and bringing together a majority of exhibiting rug companies already there, creating a more convenient shopping experience for Las Vegas Market buyers.
